Four young Vietnamese filmmakers will screen their documentaries at the
fourth mini documentary festival (Mini DocFest) to be held in Ha Noi
from October 30 to November 2.
The LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people) community will
be the central focus of an art festival taking place from December 14-29
in Ha Noi.
Vietnamese filmmakers have been urged to produce quality movies "full of
human value" and Vietnamese cultural identity to develop the country''s
film industry.
Hollywood director Phillip Noyce will judge the 48-Hour Film (48HFP) Project Viet Nam 2012.Noyce,
who achieved fame with many recent blockbusters such as Salt, The Quiet
American, The Bone Collector, Dead Calm and Patriot Games, has agreed
to help out with the competition...
